You'll cross the High Atlas Mountains, explore UNESCO-listed kasbahs, ride camels into the Erg Chebbi dunes, spend a night in a luxury desert camp, and emerge into the ancient labyrinth of Fes — one of the world's best-preserved medieval cities.
This is a one-way tour: it starts in Marrakech and ends in Fes, making it perfect if you're flying in and out of different cities (or want to add a few days in Fes at the end). We can also run it in reverse or return you to Marrakech — just let us know.

Day-by-Day Itinerary
Marrakech → Aït Ben Haddou → Ouarzazate
Depart Marrakech at 7:00 AM. Cross the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n'Tichka pass. Stop at Aït Ben Haddou — the UNESCO-listed 11th-century ksar used as a filming location for countless Hollywood productions. Spend 1.5–2 hours exploring before continuing to Ouarzazate for overnight.

Ouarzazate → Rose Valley → Dadès Gorge
Drive through the Draa Valley and the famous Rose Valley (El Kelaa M'Gouna — beautiful in April during the rose harvest). Continue through a landscape of dramatic kasbahs and ancient fortified villages. End the day in the Dadès Gorge, with its iconic winding road carved through red rock canyons.

Todra Gorge → Merzouga → Camel Trek → Desert Camp
Morning walk through the breathtaking Todra Gorge — 300m sheer cliffs with a cool river below. Continue east through palm oasis and desert landscapes to Merzouga and the Erg Chebbi dunes.
Late afternoon: mount your camel and ride into the Sahara as the sun sets. Arrive at the luxury desert camp for traditional dinner, live Gnawa music, and an unforgettable night under the stars.

Sahara Sunrise → Midelt → Fes (arrival)
Wake before dawn to climb the dunes and watch the Sahara sunrise. Return to camp for breakfast, then drive north toward Fes. Pass through Midelt — the "apple town" of Morocco — and the beautiful Middle Atlas cedar forests, where you might spot wild Barbary macaque monkeys. Arrive in Fes in the evening.

Fes Medina Guided Tour → Tour Ends
Full morning guided walk through Fes el-Bali — the world's largest car-free urban area. Visit the famous Chouara Tannery, Bou Inania Madrasa, Al-Qarawiyyin University (founded 859 AD), and the dyers' souks. The tour officially ends at your Fes riad at midday. Airport transfer can be arranged.
